Da oggi, venerdì 15 ottobre, la Festa del Cinema di Roma realizzerà presso la Casa del Cinema la retrospettiva della sedicesima edizione della Festa, a cura di Mario Sesti, dedicata ad Arthur Penn, uno degli autori più amati e rappresentativi della storia del cinema: il regista e produttore statunitense, nel corso dei decenni, ha saputo portare sul grande schermo, in televisione e al teatro le contraddizioni della società contemporanea, dosando la capacità e il piacere di raccontare storie alla responsabilità sociale e politica dell’artista. Il programma della Retrospettiva sarà composto da tredici titoli e da una conversazione che si terrà sabato 23 ottobre alle ore 18, condotta da Mario Sesti e Giorgio Gosetti, con interventi in video di Enrico Ghezzi e Mario Martone. Parteciperanno Donatello Fumarola, di Fuori Orario, e il regista Francesco Calogero.
